FACTS What does BitRail do with your financial information?
Why? Financial companies choose how they share your personal information. Federal law gives consumers the right to limit some but not all sharing. Federal law also requires us to tell you how we collect, share, and protect your personal information. Please read this notice carefully to understand what we do.
What? The types of personal information we collect and share depend on the product or service you have with us. The information can include:

• Social Security number and income

• Bank account number, account balances and account transactions 

• Payment history and transaction history

How? All financial companies need to share customer’s personal information to run their everyday business. In the section below, we list the reasons financial companies can share their customer’s personal information; the reasons BitRail chooses to share; and whether you can limit this sharing.

If you are a new customer, we can begin sharing your information 30 days from the date we sent this notice. When you are no longer our customer, we can continue to share your information as described in this notice. However, you can contact us at any time to limit our sharing.

BitRail will disclose information about consumers with a Vermont mailing address only with your written authorization (“consent’), unless otherwise permitted or required by law. Written authorizations from Vermont consumers may be delivered to us at the email or mailing address below and must contain your name, address, signature and your consent. Who is providing this notice? BitRail, LLC (BitRail)
Who we are? BitRail is a blockchain infrastructure that enables entities to operate and issue regulatory compliant cryptocurrencies for payment within their own platforms. BitRail provides companies and institutions an alternative choice to costly credit cards and other fee-heavy digital payment options.  
What we do? BitRail provides transparent, fully client-identified online payment transactions using fiat currency and cryptocurrency utility tokens, including FreedomCoin. 
How does BitRail protect my personal information? To protect your personal information from unauthorized access and use, we use security measures that comply with federal law. These measures include computer safeguards and secured files and buildings.  
How does BitRail collect my personal information? We collect your personal information, for example, when you:

• Sign up as a user of the BitRail platform or use the Yodlee Interface with your bank.

• Send or receive USD or FreedomCoin using the BitRail platform.

• Convert USD to FreedomCoin or FreedomCoin to USD using the BitRail platform.

• provide account information, give us your contact information, make a wire transfer, tell us who receives the money, tell us where to send the money

        We also collect your personal information from others, such as credit bureaus, affiliates, or other companies.

Why can’t I limit

all sharing?

Federal law gives you the right to limit only:

• Sharing for affiliates’ everyday business purposes – information about your creditworthiness

• Affiliates from using your information to market to you

• Sharing for non-affiliates to market to you

      State laws and individual companies may give you additional rights to limit sharing.

What happens when I limit sharing for an account I hold jointly? Your choices will apply to everyone on your account.
Definitions
Affiliates Companies related by common ownership or control. They can be financial and non-financial companies. BitRail’s affiliates include GunBroker.com, LLC. 
Non-affiliates Companies not related by common ownership or control. They can be financial and non-financial companies. BitRail does not share with nonaffiliates so they can market to you.
Joint marketing A formal agreement between non-affiliated financial companies that together market financial products or services to you.  
Yodlee Interface As described in BitRail’s User Agreement, an optional interface to facilitate verification of your account number, balance and other information about your bank account.
